Where our previous track explored Persephone's descent into the underworld, the severing of innocence and initiation into shadow. Demeter turns its gaze to the one left behind, the earth mother whose grief blankets the world in stillness. As her daughter slips beyond reach, Demeter's sorrow becomes cosmic, halting the turning of seasons and silencing the soil.

In place of lyrics, Demeter channels her devastation through sound with a slow mournful build of atmosphere and weight. It is both requiem and ritual, an offering to the mother whose loss starves the earth. The track moves like a fog through a barren field, heavy, patient and arching. Its layered instrumentation invites the listener to sit with the silence in between heartbeats, where grief becomes sacred.
