Yet another cycle passes and Cosmic Child mourns having to leave her mother once again. But after many seasons she will prove to be a strong and fearless queen who recognizes the sacred in both life's light and its darkness.

Persephone knows the secrets of both realms. She is the maiden of spring and the sovereign of the dead, holding deep wisdom earned through descent and return. She teaches that true power comes not from domination, but from holding space for shadow and light, death and rebirth, knowing and not-knowing. Her ferocity proves admirable as she commands respect and equality in spite of her capture. She knows and wields her power now.

LYRICS:

(Act I)
Yet another cycle turns again
And the darkness starts to slowly fade in, so cold
Dissolving into the unknown
And the shadows dance among the frees
And the moonbeams usher in winters breeze, so cold
Descending into the Underworld
I will be your house of consciousness
But under the veil I see all

(Act II)
As the colors swirl and my body pains
A once joyous girl fades away
Fade away, fade
Oh how I long for spring to come again
But before I go I just got to know
Why?
Daughter, know your role
Father, father you're a liar
I don't want to leave my mother

(Act III)
Another season turns I have become more strong and fearless
I know
So is that why you stole me, took me from my home?
It's clear
I accept that throne, I guess I'll be your queen
But you will treat me like an equal
Six months away from home
I just want my mom
No
Why
I don't want to go
